Hyperbole Poem

Oscar Diaz
Hyperbole Poem
November 22, 2011

I’m the strongest man alive.
I picked up over 200 pounds with one finger.
People were so surprise of me, nobody even giggled.
They went on shock just by looking.
People asked for an autograph, willing to pay millions.
I wasn’t even surprise of how much pounds I picked up with my finger.
If I picked up over 200 pounds with one finger,
Imagine how much I can pick up with my both hands?

Poetry 10/27/11

1.      To me poetry is something made believe, also known as fiction and a fake story.

2.      People that would disagree with me are people that don’t really know the definition of poetry.

3.      I believe poetry does not have to rhyme, since poetry is a different category then rhyme. Even though if it does rhyme poetry would sound much better.

4.      Poetry does have to make sense, and it could not be random words. Some people rhyme on their poetry to make their story more interesting for the readers.

5.      Poetry can evoke the readers make connections with the story and express their feelings on their own ways.
